If you have never been involved in a lawsuit in California before, you may not be familiar with the processes and procedures of the state’s legal system.

Unfortunately, the expression “ignorance of the law is no excuse” often is extended to include “ignorance of the state and local rules about what has to be done in a lawsuit, how and when, is no excuse.”
